About OnlinePDFPro

Free document tools that respect your privacy.

    Our Mission

OnlinePDFPro provides free, fast, and private document processing tools. We believe everyone should have access to essential document tools without compromising their privacy or paying subscription fees.

    Privacy First

Unlike other document tools, your files never leave your device. All processing happens right in your browser using JavaScript. We don't upload your files to any server, we don't store them, and we can't see them.

    • No file uploads to servers
    • No user accounts required
    • No tracking or analytics cookies containing personal data
    • No file data collection whatsoever

Note: We use basic analytics and advertising (Google AdSense/Analytics) to keep this service free, but these services do not have access to your files. File processing is strictly local.

    How It Works

Our tools use modern web technologies to process documents directly in your browser:

    • PDF Tools: Powered by PDF-lib and PDF.js
    • Image Tools: Using the native Canvas API
    • Spreadsheet Tools: Built with SheetJS

    Free Forever

OnlinePDFPro is completely free with no hidden costs, no premium plans, and no limitations. We're hosted on GitHub Pages and have minimal operating costs. If you find these tools useful, consider sharing them with others!

    Open Source

The entire OnlinePDFPro codebase is available for review. You can verify that we don't collect or transmit your data. Transparency is at the core of what we do.

    Our Mission and Vision

At OnlinePDFPro, we believe that managing digital documents shouldn't be a chore, nor should it require expensive software subscriptions or compromise your digital privacy. Our mission is to democratize document management by providing a suite of high-quality, professional-grade PDF and image tools that are accessible to everyone, everywhere, for free.

We envision a web where users don't have to trade their personal data for utility. By leveraging modern web technologies like WebAssembly and advanced browser-based JavaScript processing, we've built a platform that brings the power of desktop applications directly into your web browser.

Why Open and Free Tools Matter

In an increasingly digital world, the ability to work with PDFs—be it merging contracts, splitting large reports, or compressing files for email—is a fundamental necessity for students, educators, small business owners, and corporate professionals alike. Unfortunately, many existing online tools put basic functionalities behind paywalls, introduce arbitrary file size limits, or force users to register for accounts.

We fundamentally disagree with this approach. We believe that basic document manipulation is a utility that should be freely accessible. That's why OnlinePDFPro guarantees that our core tools will remain free forever. We do not place watermarks on your professional documents, and we do not throttle your processing speeds.

    Our Commitment to Absolute Privacy

The modern internet is fraught with privacy concerns. When you upload a sensitive legal contract, a medical record, or a confidential business proposal to a cloud-based server for processing, you lose control over that document. You must trust that the server will delete it, that it won't be indexed, and that it won't be breached by malicious actors.

OnlinePDFPro eliminates this risk entirely. We have engineered our platform around a "Client-Side First" architecture. This means that when you use our tools to merge, compress, sign, or rotate your PDFs, the actual computational work is performed by your device's CPU and memory within the secure sandbox of your web browser.

We never upload your files to our servers. We do not have access to your data. There are no databases storing your sensitive information, and there are no background processes analyzing your documents. What happens on your device stays on your device.

    Who We Are

We are a dedicated group of developers, designers, and privacy advocates who were frustrated by the lack of secure, free, and user-friendly document tools on the web. We decided to scratch our own itch and build the platform we wanted to use—one that respects the user, values design, and prioritizes data security above all else.
